In the long term synfuel has the potential to increase step wise as a blend to fossil fuels and to become the standard solution for combustion engines because of the positive carbon reduction effect.
Future combustion engines specially designed for synfuels will have an advantageous combustion behavior with higher fuel efficiency, lower raw emissions and less complex exhaust aftertreatment.
